My skin actually does feel a lot softer and smoother after only a couple of uses. The system has two settings, a low and high setting for those who have more sensitive skin. 12 pads are included in this system which will last you a month, at once every 3 days. 2 AA batteries are included and extra pads are sold separately. I am very happy with this purchase and it works a lot better than I expected.

I purchased this product a few years back when it was first released and it immediately became my go-to product for smoother, healthier looking skin. However, I was saddened to find out a couple years later when I ran out of rejuvenating puffs that it was taken off the shelves. Glad to see they have re-released the product (thought they state it's `new') as it continues to be one of my favorites. It says use it every three days but I use it every day and my face is shinny, smooth, and prevents future outbreaks. Plus, it has a great scent to boot. I suggest not putting on any facial moisturizers afterward, as the scrub does open your skin and any moisturizers you apply will leave your with a burning sensation....

I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. My face is squeaky clean and smooth after using, and I feel like my other facial products are that much more effective (such as moisturizers and serums) after using this product every 3 days. It seems to be having good results in terms of decreasing the look and size of my pores.As a fun aside note....I think that this product could also be used, ahem, for another purpose. It has two speeds, and the head that the microderm pads are attached to, can also be detached. So. Just sayin'.

Just purchased - good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times - I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. But, give it the ol' 1-2 try!I would have liked the pads to be maybe a little more abrasive - for older skin, that would be better. Maybe they should offer a couple of different "grit" pads, like sandpaper!!I recently had 'real' microdermabrasion - I have a pretty high pain/discomfort threshold - well, let me tell you - that procedure wasn't pleasant, it bloody hurt, and........after 2 treatments with this high powered machine, I really saw little difference, not lasting, anyway.Do yourself a favor - give this little machine a try at $20, it's not a miracle worker, you won't look 25 again, but I think you'll see a difference. I'm going to stick with it.

I've got real sensitive skin but this thing leaves my skin clear and clean. I bought a bunch of stuff off of Amazon to get rid of some crazy milia that popped up on my face plus dryness and now scars from me trying to get rid of the milia with a needle.The first time i used this i used it with about 3 or 4 other things i bought off of here so don't know which one did what the best... but i do know my skin was real clear after using it. I thought this might of made me break out after seeing the fragrances in it but it could've been one of the other things i used with it.It took me a minute to use it again but when i did my skin didn't break out. I used it about 3 or 4 more times after that and then forgot about it. Just used it again yesterday after about a month of massaging my face with jojoba.. olive oil.. witch hazel and some of the other crap i got on amazon and with my face finally looking like its getting better this made it even clearer.I used it enough times to give it a good rating. The more you use it the better it makes your skin look. I rinse the pads off to water down whatever perfume thats in it so it doesn't make me break out. If you've got sensitive skin u should probably do the same thing. It would be perfect if it didn't have fragrances in it. Nobodys gonna be smelling my face anyway so what's the point of putting perfume in facial products other than losing money from all the customers who are allergic to it.ADDED 4 MONTHS LATER: 4 Months later and this exfoliator is the best thing out of everything I use that really smooths my skin out and leaves it soft. I use raw cocoa butter, olive oil and organic aloe vera the most. Sometimes I wash with c. Booth derma C 24 Daily Vitamins Healthy Skin Facial Cleanser 6.7 fl oz (200 ml). They leave my skin kinda smooth but it's still either a little dry the next day (cocoa butter) or not as smooth by the end of the week (olive oil). When I use this exfoliator my skiin is REALLY smooth, soft and clear (clean)... and stays like that until I exfoliate again. I only used it a couple times a month... this month I started using it a couple times a week because my skin finally cleared up enough (no pimples or redness). Face feels really good after you use it too, really clean. Best product out there for bad skin. 3 -6 months from now I'll probably be totally clear.

This handy little tool works awesome. I've used alot of facial products, and I've finally found something that does exactly what it advertises. My skin is so soft, and I noticed a difference after the first use. I also grind my teeth at night, and have TMJ, the massaging action on this relaxed muscles in my face and felt soooooo good. I love it, and already recommended it to my mom.

bought this system based on a blog review and love it. face feels clean and brighter immediately after one use! i was looking at other systems in sephora and bliss which were so expensive. this does wonders at a fraction of the cost. smells good, easy to use and even has the batteries included already. difficulty finding the refill puffs in pharmacies (rite aid, cvs and walgreens in nyc) so will stock up on the refills with amazon since it is a good price. highly recommended for the simplicity of use, results and price!

I will start out by saying that I was under the misconception that this could somehow deep clean my skin. But sadly that isn't the case.This product does what is supposed to do. It wears away the top layer of skin allowing a fresh layer of skin to grow from beneath. I am a 21 year old male suffering from a significant case of acne and blemishes on my skin. I thought that eventually peeling away my skin, that I could leave my skin blemish and acne free.It did leave my skin feeling smooth and supple. It also made the skin look fresher and I guess this is because it is a new layer of skin. But for the acne, it did NOTHING. In fact with the sebum in my acne, it caused them to become sore if anything.So basically my point is that it does very little for cleansing, which is what actually prevents breakouts. So if you are looking for a cleansing system, consider the Olay Pro-X. But if you are looking for a battery powered abrasive device, consider the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System.

This is a great product and I love the price. It does pretty much what it is supposed to do but I can not use it 3/week as Neutrogena recommends. I only go for twice/ week if at all. My face feels so soft and fresh after using it. It is a must for any skincare routine. :)

This microdermabrasion system from Neutrogena is amazing! It is very easy to put together and use and is also very affordable. After the first use, my skin felt very smooth and looked brighter. I've been having trouble with breakouts and the day after my first use, I could already see a difference. I've been using this product for about 1 full week and the pores on my nose are smaller. I would say after the full week of using this microderm kit, my pores are about half the size they were before and the blackheads I used to have are nearly gone! The acne I had before has almost totally disappeared.

I highly recommend this product!

Also, I would like to point out that I have been using a moisturizing facial mask and an acne fighting facial lotion along with this product, but I was using these things before. After combining them with this microderm kit they are more effective.

I would also recommend ordering a refill for the puffs at the same time of ordering this microderm system.

I love the neutrogena micro dermabrasion system it worked great for me. I have had acne since I was 13 n after all the acne at age 20 it left me with huge pores a round my cheeks and nose. I also have a few scares a round the sides of my face and chin area. But after using this system for almost about a month and a half, I've notice my pores shrink and my scares fade reducing the appearance of its existence. I use the system once or twice every week, those little scrubbing pads are pretty rough on your skin, but if you know how to use it the correct way then you should get the results your looking for.
