I purchased this little wonder after advise that I received from Kandee the makeup artist on youtube. My boyfriend thought I was crazy for listening to some chick on youtube. But I proved him wrong. My face after using this product is amazing! The brush looking side is a deep cleaner that I have been using daily and the crystal microderm abrasion formula I have used once. Kandee recomended using the microderm abrasion part once a week which I think is all I will need, but I will continue to use the deep cleaning brush everyday. Best 70.00 I have ever spent for a cleaner healthier complexion. I would recommend this to everyone and I have!

Okay, so 80 bucks seems like a lot of money to plunk down for an at-home microdermabrasion kit...especially when everyone from Homedics to L 'Oreal is marketing a more cost-friendly version of what appears to be the same EXACT thing. However, experience (and lots of money not-so-well spent) has taught me that, in most cases, you generally get what you pay for. Case in point: a few months ago I finally made the decision to trade in my 99 cent ultra-black mascara for a high-end name brand version of the same product...I immediately discovered that mascara-induced racoon eyes really can be avoided! Who knew? After that, I vowed never to pinch pennies when it comes to beauty. Now there are, of course, some exceptions; my mother swears by Oil of Olay -as do I- but when you're talking about microderabrasion, a proceedure that can cost as much as $150 per session, it's hard to believe that you can achieve the same exact results with something that is a mere fraction of the cost.Skeptical but desperate for youthful looking skin, I opted to splurge on the DermaNew Facial Rejuvenation System. Prior to my purchase, I did a fair amount of research so I knew that what I was getting the crème de la crème of the more than twenty-plus versions that I had to choose from.Just two weeks after using it, I began to notice that my once sallow complexion (thanks to stress, lack of sleep and yo-yo dieting) had been replaced with a healthy glow. Now my skin looks soft and peachy, kind of like it did when I was twelve...you know, when youth and beauty was effortless...sigh!All in all this product is best for someone with little to no skin flaws. Those who are expecting miracle results or results similar to what you would get from a full-service salon treatment may be dissapointed. My advice, shell out the necessary funds in order to get your skin under control, then use this product for the upkeep. This is great for removing the dead skin that regular washing tends to leave behind.

I read the reviews on this product and was nervous because I am prone to breakouts from new products. I ordered the acne & oil version of this system and have only used it four times in the last four days. I am so happy! I have read that you can use it 5 days in a row to resurface your face and then STOP for 5 days before going to a 3x's a week schedule. I could tell the difference after the first use. I am on my 4th use and my skin is 100% clear and glowing. I am 35 years old have not had clear skin in months! I recently went off of proactiv because i was getting wrinkles and the BP was making my skin look leathery. Since then, I have not been able to control my black heads or bumps and unusually erupt around my chin daily with few clear days. I haven't been free of pimples in about 6 months. This product is amazing. I have been using it in combination with Neutrogena night wrinkle cream after each use with Retinol before going to bed. It says on the packaging not to use the system with retin-A so I am not sure if this is a bad combination - but it works wonders for my skin. I feel like a new woman...

I have been using this product for about 4 months now. I have noticed fine lines on my face diminish, without a doubt. I think the applicator is not really necessary; I get quicker results by applying more pressure with my finger when applying. After application it may appear that blemishes get worse, but this is due to the fact the outer layer of skin is being hardened and eventually will slough off. I would recommend purchasing just the creme, as I feel the applicator is just a means to cash in.

Love the microdermabrasion cream that came in this 5-piece system. Disappointed in the machine as it isn't much better than the $5.00 Dove machine, but I am using it to apply the cream. I do like the teardrop shaped application pad. It does not use rechargeable batteries. I perfer the microdermabrasion skin machine I purchased from Sharper Image for half the price with more attachments that uses rechargeable batteries . . . but I really like the DermaNew cream.

I ordered this last month and I have used it half a dozen times. My face has been dry with some flakes so I hoped this would help with exfoliation... and it has! After use my face is smooth and fresh...The only thing I do not like is that the foam applicator side (the side I use most) is breaking down quickly.
