A coworker in her early 60's with significant jowling and neck laxity bought one of these in Oct. 2009. I got one too, and we experimented for about a month. While we both noticed a tiny bit of tightening in the neck/jowl area, I wasn't sure it could make much more of a difference, and I stopped using it.

I didn't see her for several months...then we met for lunch this Jan. 2011 -- and wow -- I could REALLY see a difference in her neck! Everything was noticeably tighter. She'd kept using the device all that time and it showed. I was so impressed, I pulled my Neckline Slimmer back out that night and have been working with it, since.

I've exercised 5-6 nights a week for the last 2 months - easy to do while watching TV before bed. I use only the heaviest spring, as the lighter ones have never provided enough resistance. Along with the 2 basic exercises done directly under the chin as instructed, I added a twist: I also do them under each side of my neck. I believe the addition has helped me get better and faster results; I can see an actual difference in my profile - my lower cheek/jowel is tighter on each side, plus platysmal lines in the front of my neck are slightly yet noticeably less prominent.

This little tool cannot perform miracles, of course; jowels are partly due to the cheeks sagging from age and gravity, so working "just" the lower face won't lift the cheeks back to their younger position as can be done via surgery or mid face exercise...BUT used for what it's intended, I'm happy to get results I can see.

It will be interesting to see if improvement plateaus soon, or if I'll see even more tightening over the next several months. Bottom line: the Neckline Slimmer is very reasonably priced, easy to use, and does work!

Review by Yarii : Works - but you have to make it a habit

Even though I've been using Face Aerobics with good results Face Aerobics One, I wanted to bump it up a notch by trying this Neckline Slimmer. After 2 weeks, I can see a more toned jaw line. I'm using the weakest spring. You have to make this part of your regular routine every day to see a significant improvement, and what I do is this:

> Make sure you sit up straight, shoulders back with both exercises.
> Hold for a count of 5 seconds, not 2 seconds as the instructions say.
> Do 30 reps in a row, not two sets of 15 with both exercises. I feel it more this way.
> When doing the second exercise (using your face muscles to push it down), push down by opening your mouth/jaw. Hold 5 seconds. As you let up to the closed mouth position, smile slightly. That relaxes the jaw muscle for a second, so you can start the next repetition with a relaxed muscle.

Also, I suggest purchasing the original Paul Younane model. I tried a friend's knock-off (cheaper) slimmer and it was too weak to do much good, even with the strongest spring installed.

I am 46 and getting married in one month. I was disgusted with my appearance in pictures over the last few years....double chin, sagging neckline, depressing! I was actually thinking of getting surgery and did some research into the best procedures. Several surgeons on the internet said that they recommended exercise, not surgery - so I began looking for options.

I felt foolish buying this. Foolish enough to order it on the internet and not at the store, but the results are fantastic.

I put the strongest coil in the first day - I skipped the two lighter ones. And instead of following instructions exactly, I started with enough reps to feel slight soreness (about 30 instead of 20) and then increased from there.

One of the comments I read suggested that the trick is how you set your facial muscles prior to beginning. I found that to be very true!

If you look into the mirror with a neutral expression or a frown as you perform the excercise, it doesn't seem to stress the neck and under-chin muscles much...but if you force a fake "smile"...setting the facial muscles tightly and holding them like that during the excercises, you feel it instantly.

First excercise: Hold the fake smile, and nod the head up and down in "yes" pattern. Second excercise: Hold the fake smile, and keep the neck rigid while you open and close your jaw as if chewing.

I am a professional public speaker and am photographed weekly. I'm telling you - even I can see that I look 10-15 years younger. I am so happy! I can't wait for the wedding. :)

I had a turkey neck or a double chin. I am a tad overweight, but not obese. After a few months of use, I think it did tune the neck a bit. To really lose the rest I would need to lose weight and work out. So overall it does work fine. I do about 15 reps of the head/neck motion and 15 reps of the opening the jaws a day. I got this at the AS Seen on TV store, but it as Neck Gene on it not Neck Slimmer so then most be the newer brand name.

It came with a bag and 3 different springs (different resistance level). I also have the Flowbee Hair Cutter from the same store and it works great too.

Tones neck, chin and jawline. Contains three stages of coils BTW the first two are easy and third one may be tuff for some who follow the excercises given but eventually everyone should be able to get through the third stage. I used to use it every day for a couple of weeks than I no longer had too, although I don't feel that I was in dire need of toning. Now I use once or twice a week to maintain so I'll never get back a double chin. I wish there was a stronger coil available but since there is not I can use the neckline slimmer more often, do more reps and slow down the reps if I felt the need for more firmness.

This product is excellent. I have been using it once a day for about two months now. Everyone who sees me thinks that I have lost tons of weight when in fact I haven't lost any weight - just that my face has totally changed. I used to have a double chin, but now my neckline is more defined and the double chin is gone. I love this product!

I lost a great deal of weight. Around 200 lbs and was ok with my skin until the last 30 lbs. My neck started to sag and it was very depressing and made me feel very old. I got this and at first was skeptical. After just 3 weeks of using it I do notice most of my neck looks very tone and tight now. There is just a little sag that goes away after I use this but then gets a little bad on and off during the day. I use baby oil and this and it fixes it again temporarily. Everyday it gets better and better though. I do the exercises they recommend about 3 to four times a day. More sets and reps then they recommend. I think in a few more weeks time I will be totally back to normal. In fact even better then before. Its a little noise and embarrassing to do it. I do it on my drive into and back home from work plus my drive to the gym in the morning. I do feel this has worked more then any cream or anything else I have bought.

As I dislike the way people look after cosmetic surgery, five years ago I decided to start doing facial workouts. I started with the fantastic facial workout by Eva Fraser (book and videos) and my face and neck look younger now than when I was twenty years old. When I came across this neckline slimmer, and knowing how great I had done with my previous Eva Fraser facial and neck workouts, I decided to buy two of these slimmers, one for me and one for a friend. My neck was already in very good shape, but just the same I use this neckline slimmer at least 4 times a week. The interesting thing about it is that my friend, who had never done any facial workout and whose neck was beginning to show signs of aging and had pretty much turned into a turkey neck, has improved dramatically thanks to this neckline slimmer. I am not surprised of her success since I have experienced personally the great results that can be obtained through facial and neckline workouts. Just like the muscles in the body, the muscles in our face and neck also need to exercise. What makes our faces and necks look old is not the sagging skin but the sagging **muscles**. If we put these muscles to work, they react like all the other muscles in the body, and sometimes even much sooner. The neck slimmer is just amazing. So if you bought one but didn't see a change within a few weeks don't think it won't work. If you are feeling the muscles under your neck and down the side of neck and face working as you're doing the exercise, IT WILL eventually make a big difference.

I've owned mine for almost six months. At first I didn't feel much affect with the muscles on my neck and cheeks as I knew there should be when doing a resistance exercise. I continue to do 30 reps of each of the two exercises twice a day anyway. I kept reviewing the Youtube video of the exercise,and tweaking the way I was doing them until I could feel good muscle fatigue when doing the reps.

The first thing I noticed within weeks of using this thing was my TMJ problem had eased. As months went on I noticed that the TMJ was almost gone.

Then I started noticing around the third or forth month that the crepiness of my neck was lessoned to the point it was almost gone.

I still lack tone directly under my chin and down that area of my neck just below the chin. So again I reviewed the video found on YOUTUBE and realized I was doing it too fast and started holding the plunger down for a count of three and slowly letting it back up. Wow I've started feeling the muscles really working directly under my chin area as if a band was being stretched. I think that it won't be long before I will see a total toning of my entire neck. Just like in the before and after shots.

Another wonderful side affect of these exercises is that my upper eyelids and cheeks are now less saggy. Having had bells palsy 30 years ago one side of my face, my right upper eye lid and eyebrow was droopier than the left. At the fifth month I realized that I don't have that perceptible droop any longer. OMG! I look at least ten years younger!

If you gave up on this product or are wondering if it will work PLEASE STICK WITH IT! RE check the video on YouTube under the product name and tweak the exercise until you feel muscle fatigue while doing it. YOU WILL take years off your neck and face!

I am always sceptical of these kind of products but I can't afford plastic surgery so I gave it a try. I have been using it
for about 2 months and I think it is working. My whole face looks thinner (with no weight loss I'm sorry to say) and my side view is better. I use the product twice a day and follow the directions closely. I think if you buy this product you will be pleasantly surprised after a couple of months. I plan to keep using it. I am 57 years old and had that sagging neckline thing going on.

I bought this product at walgreens and i am extremely happy with my purchase. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and i can definetly see and feel the difference...can't wait to see how i look after the 8 weeks! If the coils were tighter I would give this product 5 stars.
