These are the coolest bowls for anything hot. The handle makes it very easy to get the bowl to the table without burning your fingers from the hot contents. Great for Chili and soups. Love, love these. Too bad they have been discontinued.

I've had the same 2 grab-it bowls for years, but I opened a crowded cupboard without being careful and one bowl crashed to the floor. Needing a replacement, I turned to Amazon, of course. These are VERY useful bowls. They can be used in the freezer, oven and microwave. I don't use the plastic cover at all...prefer Saran Wrap, foil or waxed paper. These are good for soups, chili, and left-overs...easy to heat or reheat. In the micro, make a "hole" in the center of the food so it will heat all the way through.

I had a set of these bowls years ago and was thrilled to see they still make them. They are the perfect size for cereal and soup.
They go in the microwave without worry and the grab-it handle stays cool to the touch......perfect.

I had a set of grab-its with a pretty pattern on the side ages ago. Now they only seem to make white. But I like that the handle doesn't get hot when microwaving items in it.

I have had several old ones which were made in New York state and they are still going strong after many years. This new one is heavier and does not have a smooth bottom but is adequate. I do not like the soft plastic cover, but I can use my old glass covers which fit just fine.

With all the problems concerning plastic, i decided to go with glass.
Already, I am pleased with my choice: cleaner,great visibility and safer.
