Sound level is just enough. Might be difficult to use in an automobile. Some choice actions are only available on the remote control. Overall, player is quite good for home use.

The picture and sound are great !! The battery won't stay charged for more than 1 1/2 hours and I can't get the remote control to work to scroll through the titles.

RCA DRC6331B Portable DVD Player with 10-Inch LCD ScreenIt fulfills the expectation of most people looking for a portable device to watch a DVD disk or a CD disk, anywhere anytime one desires to. The player is light enough to carry around, and it fits in most carrying bags. The power supply, a rechargeable fixed builtin battery, can run for quite a long time up until the next charge. What's more important, the device being of such nature, the developers have taken into consideration the users's attributes of the device. That being said, usually that group of users, is interested in a simple versatile mostly conventional type of device, much like the ordinary transistor radios, record players, even portable ones, or portable cassette tape players, or more advanced walkmans, that could be turned on and off, and made some adjustments, without any mind boggling, or futile setups and download of patches and security updates of variety of pertinent applications, in the background. Either at home or outside, one can use it just like a walkman, or the simple record players, with a few buttons and dials, which are very visible, either by touch or by color, or even with a very simple also clear print buttons remote control, also a very light and small one. The image quality satisfies any type of DVD viewer, the color and resolution is perfect, and especially, the viewing angle is exceptionally quite larger than any LCD screen I've come across. Two viewers can watch the image very clearly, a feature which is bothersome in most LCD screens available, regardless of size. Setup is incidentally absent. The device turns on and starts operating, just like one would, when one purchased a radio transistor from the store, except inserting the batteries. Setting is almost unnecessary, for the plethora and confusing settings one meets in a computer device, and endless list of options, which forbids one to use, is gone. Except selecting the type of sound, Mono or some kind of Stereo, there is not much there to adjust. The containment to insert the media is very satisfactory, in terms of location, and ease of use. The various digital formats supported, meets most users' demands. And of quite important factor, the users' manual and instructions for use, is very well written and explained, with the aid of schematics, when necessary, and comprehensible to the usual user, requiring ordinary knowledge of electronic devices, without special experience with arcane computer terms, or practice. Like all electronic devices, and non-electric ones just the same, the user should heed and pay special attention, to each and every users manual that comes with a device. The instructions, which include safety and precautions, and cautionary notes, are the result of a vast amount of records and laboratory tests, and a few mishaps, and even new development and innovation which touch the commodity in some way, that requires the awareness and action on the part of user. These are prepared and written by designers themselves and in most cases meant to protect the user, although in some cases legal matters are secured, but one should read and understand carefully, before turning it on, even if it would be difficult to resist the temptation to get the wrappers apart and start trying it.

Nice unit. Controls could be marked better. Quality of component is OK - could've been better (being an RCA) - I expected something more sturdy.

It is builted good! It is small and lite weight.It have a sharp high-resolution
LCD screen.It comes with auto and AC adapters. A built-in 3 hour rechargeable
battery.It has built-in stereo speakers and a remote control with it.
This portable DVD player is great for the every day person.
It is a nothing fancy with no extra features.
